A tension headache is the most common type of headache. It can cause mild to intense pain in your head and neck. Women are twice as likely as men. episodic: less than 15 days per month chroic:more than 15 days per month <Cause> Muscle contractions in the head and neck regions.

Symptom
  • dull head pain
  • mild to intense pain 、throbbing

  • Nausea, vomiting, and light/sound sensitivity are usually not present .<Treatment> over-the-counter pain reliever indomethacin,aspirinibuprofenand naproxen,acetaminophe (Preventive medications)

    • muscle relaxant.:tizanidine

    • anticonvulsants, such as topiramate
